We thought you might appreciate finding some links to others who are following their own individual ideas. The Lindisfarne Scriptorium
We would strongly recommend you to take a look at
the beautiful artwork that the Lindisfarne Scriptorium produces using
calligraphy, illumination and illustration. Based actually on the Holy island
they use old skills and new materials to create images that will draw the viewer
'into an experience of prayer, meditation and blessing'. Their principle
artist, Mary Fleeson trained in textiles and jewellery design and you can see
the influence in her colourful, jewel-like images. Prints can be bought
online.
