The Small Print

v     You may use this site to advertise clerical wear and other things that are used in ministry only. We will not post any listings that are undesirable on this site.

v     This site is a not-for-profit site that is funded by us.  You may not use it as advertising for a small business.  However, you may contact us if you would like us to put a link to your website on our links page.

v     We do not offer a meeting or collection point. It’s up to you to make the arrangements for delivery or collection.

v     Information for goods must be accurate and must not be misrepresented. Goods must also be ‘as described’. For example, a ‘slightly worn but serviceable cassock’, should be serviceable!

v     Clothes should be dry cleaned or laundered before exchange.

v     Cassock-u-like cannot check your transactions for you.

v     If in doubt, always ask to view before you buy. If any item is sold under false pretences, the arrangement becomes void and items should be returned to their original owner.

v     Please be safe and make sure that you have some information about people if you are meeting to exchange an item. It’s sensible for example to get a traceable, home telephone number or have someone with you when they call.

v     If you are selling, make sure you receive your money before you dispatch the item.  This is especially the case if you are selling to another country.

v     If you are contacted by email and are suspicious then remember not to open any attachments.  Think before clicking on any weblinks that you are sent.  We have had one instance reported where a link to a website has been sent to a seller - It said "Boo!".

v     If concerned about your privacy, remember that email addresses are more anonymous and give you more control.  You are not required to supply us with your phone number, but you will perhaps wish to give it to an enquirer at a later date.

v     We will not advertise anything that encourages racism, bigotry, religious hatred or discrimination on the grounds of sex, sexual orientation or political beliefs. We will not place adverts which contain material that may be obscene, libellous or defamatory, or that may infringe people’s rights.

Data Protection

We are not going to pass on your details to anyone else for any reason.  However, in advertising items wanted/on offer you are giving us permission to post your contact details on this site until you advise us that you no longer wish us to do so. 

We will keep your details on file whilst your listing is current and would like to keep you in our database for the future but you can tell us at any time if you do not wish for this to happen.
